Developing Profitable Website Content


If you read the Google Webmasters Guidelines (published in November 2008) you will learn that relevant, fresh content is the key to getting ranked high for targeted key words. The key word is “fresh”.
 
For example if you are selling gift baskets, searches for “gifts baskets” will increase around the holidays, and search terms will change according to the time of year; “gift baskets for mothers” around Mother’s day or “wedding gift baskets” in the spring during the height of the wedding season etc.

In 2010 Google promises that all search results will include real time information, scores, reviews, tweets, doctor recommendations, all will have up to the minute results.
